Do you flush the downspouts or just clear the gutters?+

Both. Clearing the troughs is half the job; a clear trough over a clogged downspout still overflows. We flush every downspout until it runs clear and confirm water gets away from the foundation.

Do you blow the gutters out?+

No. We hand-clear and bag the debris so nothing gets blown across your roof, beds, or yard. It is cleaner and lets us actually see the trough and fascia.

What are the black streaks on the outside of my gutters?+

Algae tiger-stripes, fed by humidity and roof runoff. They are cosmetic but they stand out on light fascia. We wash them off with a bio-based cleaner as part of the service.

How often should coastal NC gutters be cleaned?+

Twice a year is the baseline: after the spring pollen and seed-pod drop, and again in late fall after the leaves. Heavily wooded and oak-shaded lots sometimes need a third pass.
